Born and raised in Milan, I moved to London in the early nineties. I studied Anthropology at the London School of Economics. For my PhD I spent 18 months researching village life in the Bolivian Amazon (see my thesis here).
I always enjoyed making things and when I encountered ceramics in 2010 it was love at first touch. I took classes with Matt Sherratt at London's City Lit, and then with North London potter Ricky Grimes. I was also taught by Deborah Baynes and Svend Bayer. I set up my home studio in 2013 and in 2017 I moved into Petr Weigl Studios in Wood Green, North London.

My work is hand thrown and glazed with traditional, lead-free glazes; each piece is unique and functional.
I live in North London, with my husband, 3 children and a cat.
I am a founding member of the Muswell Hill Creatives.
