Born and raised in Milan, I moved to London in the early nineties. I studied Anthropology at LSE (and spent 18 months in the Bolivian Amazon). In 2010 I encountered ceramics and it was love at first touch. I took classes with Matt Sherratt at London's City Lit, and then with North London potter Ricky Grimes.

In 2019, I moved with my family to Cumbria and I started working in the delightful settings of Brougham Hall near Penrith (http://www.broughamhall.co.uk/our-community/pottery-studio/ ). I am very grateful to Mary Chappelhow for this.

My work is wheel-thrown stoneware. I make tableware as well as decorative majolica platters, and vases inspired by rocks and lichens on the Cumbrian fells.

I am a founding member of the Muswell Hill Creatives collective,
a member of the Eden Valley Artistic Network and of the Northern Potters Association.
